Climate change if not influence by ANY factor apart from increase in greenhouse gas concentrations?

Snixx asked:

Does everyone agree that if you takeaway ALL OTHER FACTORS effecting climate apart from increasing concentrations of greenhouse gases, then the climate will get warmer?
sorry i was just making sure people read the question properally as alot of people dont =)
to sarah… wasnt the world warmer when the dinosaures where about?
Therefore couldnt the greenhouse gases in the atmosphere due to the volcanoes have influenced this warming.

I suggest you try to remove the sun. Call me crazy, but I think it will get colder if that happens.

Hello, the earth’s climate is controlled by a normal cycle. Considering the air quality is considerably better than in the 1970s and it has done nothing but follow its natural pattern, I would say nothing really has changed much. As for your “question” if it were merely greenhouse gas effects, the earth currently would not be livable according to many standards.

No, I don’t agree with that. It COULD get warmer b/c of natural cycles, but when the dinosaurs existed, CO2 levels were high b/c of increased volcanic activity. But now, CO2 levels increase every year and don’t stay at a constant rate.

To Poster: I think you need to reread my answer, cuz that’s exactly what I was saying

Thank you for using a correct term: Climate Change.

If you took away all of the automobiles, trains, boats, planes, tanks, Compressor Stations. You stopped the reckless and criminal pollution, there may be natural warming and cooling trends.

With a cleaner atmosphere, the cooling Cyclonic Winds that are able to wash through the Air, and can dissipate the Toxic pockets of warm air trapped by Inverse Convection, the warming will be tempered with cool and healing winds. All of this will allow the Oceans, and Lakes to get the cool downs they desperately need again to cleans themselves.

If you have a hobo who hasn’t washed in a month, you keep him outside on the porch, bring him food and hot cocoa, you can stand to be around him/her…Take that same hobo on inside the ultra warmed house, put him/her right up to the heat source, get a fan going while you are at it; you will not be able to breathe without your body reacting to the toxic smell coming from one man.

Think of the Earth as one whole Body. As long as there is enough fresh air and water, and dirt to clean the toxins, it is okay. When the body is overwhelmed, the healing systems do not work as well, eventually causing illness and possibly death.

The climate often changes for no reason at all.

Co2 is an after effect of warming caused by active sunspots. It is released from the oceans as they warm up, this is why Co2 increase in the atmosphere always trails warming.
