I’ve heard so many sides of the story and I can witness it first hand that Global warming is real. But there is a huge debate in the scientific community on whether it’s a man made phenomenon or it’s just the planet going through another phase before another ice age.

Surfing the Internet, there are way too many websites talking about stopping global warming and fighting its causes and consequences. Few of them list specific campaigns to achieve this, though, so I wanted to make a list —not of organizations— of initiatives towards the reduction of pollution or stopping the global warming threat. Which do you know? Can you help me build a list?

As you can see I’m not a global warming (end of the earth) denier. I simply wish our course of actions could be carried out more swiftly than anticipated in order that there might be more life left for innnocent creatures. And in order that the truely guilty receive fair compensation for their acts of pollution.

I believe in human caused global warming, but it’s a consensus in the non-politically motivated community that interglacial periods last about 10,000-15,000 years. And the last glacial periods ended that long ago.

So could global warming forestall this human catastrophe?
